Recently, in Mary Oil and Gas Secondary Vocational Educational Institution, in connection with the announcement of 2024 in the independent, neutral state of Turkmenistan as the “Magtymguly Fragi's Fount of Mind”, as well as the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi, a scientific and practical council and exhibition was held.

Teachers from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions located in our velayat took an active part in the council, with prepared topics and spoke in detail about the place of Magtymguly Fragi in world culture. The council consisted of three parts, which were called “Historical significance of the year of the great national genius Magtymguly Fragi”, “Foundation of state building of Turkmenistan”, “Growth of the oil and gas sector in Turkmenistan".

Teachers from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions in our region spoke about the life and work of Magtymguly Fragi, about the educational significance of his poems, and teachers from the Mary oil and gas secondary vocational educational institution spoke about the growth of the oil and gas sector and the history of the oil and gas educational institution.
