Turkmenistan sent another humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

On Wednesday, September 11, as part of the start of construction of the Serhetabat-Herat gas pipeline and other infrastructure facilities on the Turkmen-Afghan border, humanitarian aid was sent at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.

This action was carried out in accordance with the Order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, signed on September 11.

The humanitarian cargo included baby food, wheat, food products, urea, diesel fuel, gasoline and cement.

This humanitarian action continues the long-standing tradition of supporting Afghanistan and strengthens friendly ties between the two peoples.

The transfer ceremony was attended by high-ranking representatives of both countries.  The people of Afghanistan expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for their regular assistance and support.
