The results of the fuel and energy sector’s work for ten months discussed at the government meeting

On November 8, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted via the digital system a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of the work carried out over the ten months of the current year were summed up, and the priority tasks of the country’s socioeconomic development were discussed.

During the sitting, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of the work carried out in the oil and gas industry over the ten months of 2024.

Reporting on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of hydrocarbon production, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the Türkmennebit State Concern had fulfilled the plan for oil production at the level of 102.4 percent, and for its processing at oil refineries – of 103.4 percent.

During the period under review, the plan for gasoline production was fulfilled at the level of 107.4 percent, lubricating oils – of 102.3 percent and for the export of “blue fuel” – of 101.1 percent.

Along with this, indicators for the production of diesel fuel, polypropylene, liquefied gas and natural and associated gases were reported.

The plan for the development of investments from all sources of financing was fulfilled at the level of 106.2 percent.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the need to continue work on increasing production volumes and expanding routes for supplies of oil and gas to the world market. As the head of state emphasized, it was necessary to achieve efficiency in the activities of the oil refineries of the Türkmennebit State Concern.

Noting the importance of completely fulfilling the planned indicators for the manufacture of petroleum products and extraction of hydrocarbons, the President of the country addressed a number of specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
