72 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Representatives of business circles from Turkey, Hong Kong and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas and lighting kerosene produced at the technological installations of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" for foreign currency. Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Switzerland, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine purchased desulfurized diesel fraction and urea (SC "Turkmenchemistry").
Bedding, cotton yarn, dry licorice root extract, denim products, and raw fabric were also sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: UAE, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of transactions was over 24 million 818 thousand US dollars.
Domestic businessmen purchased petroleum road bitumen and packaging film (SC "Turkmennebit"), as well as float glass, hand-made carpets, cotton yarn, textile waste for the domestic market for a total of more than 90 million 88 thousand manats.
