The President of Turkmenistan approved the State Budget of the country for 2025

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the law "On the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2025", according to which the budget revenues and expenditures were approved in the amount of 123 billion 798.1 million manats.
The Law on the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2025 was published on December 2 in the central media of our country.
As noted in the law, "To approve the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2025 for revenues and expenditures in the amount of 123 billion 798.1 million manats."
The amount of expenditures and revenues of the Centralized Budget, used to finance national programs and perform public administration functions, amounted to 111 billion 987.6 million manats.
The law states that wages, pensions, state benefits and scholarships are established as protected items of expenditure of the State Budget.
In the event of a budget deficit, the sources of financing are established as funds from government borrowing and (or) the remaining budget funds in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan.
The law also establishes that additional revenues received by the State Budget of Turkmenistan in 2025 from other sources, as well as the amounts of excess revenues over expenses, are primarily directed to repaying debt on bank loans, to finance areas for ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the state.
