A four-day seminar dedicated to digital culture and transformation of public administration has started at the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan. The event is held within the framework of a joint project with UNDP with the participation of an international expert on digitalization, professor of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at RUDN University Viktor Dostov.

The main goal of the seminar is to train civil servants in modern digital tools. During the classes, participants will consider digital transformation as a new industrial revolution, study its key components and social consequences, including changes in the labor market.

Particular attention will be paid to technologies in the field of financial institutions and e-government. A separate block of the program will be the study of artificial intelligence as a driver of digitalization, its functionality in public platforms and its role in the development of civil society.

According to Professor Dostov, this seminar is part of a long-term cooperation with the Academy of Civil Service of Turkmenistan.

 - We will try to talk about digitalization in terms of the benefit for the country, to understand what steps need to be taken to make the republic more efficient and the lives of citizens better, - the expert noted.

Viktor Dostov also emphasized the relevance of the topic of artificial intelligence in 2025.

- Now the most lively topic is artificial intelligence. We will discuss the prospects for its development and the possibilities of its application in both the public and private sectors, - the professor said.
