Preparations are well underway for the International Investment Promotion Forum for Turkmenistan (TEIF 2025), which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 23-24 April 2025. With high-profile speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities, the forum promises to be a key platform for facilitating international investment and strategic cooperation.

The first session, “New Investment Opportunities in Turkmenistan’s Energy Sector: Natural Gas and Monetization”, will be moderated by Ms. Atsuko Hirose, Secretary General of the International Energy Charter. With many years of experience in international development finance institutions, Hirose will bring valuable insights into energy policy, investment mechanisms and sustainable energy solutions. Her experience will also be valuable for productive discussions on natural gas monetization, including the development of value-added products and the expansion of transit routes to improve market accessibility.

Jean-François Gauthier, Senior Vice President of Strategy at GHGSat, will moderate Session 5, on “Strategies based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Reducing Methane and CO2 Emissions and Advancing Clean Energy Innovation”. Since joining GHGSat in 2016, he has played a key role in commercializing satellite-based emissions monitoring solutions worldwide and now leads the company’s corporate strategy and development. His expertise in satellite-based environmental monitoring will add valuable insight to the discussions on reducing methane and CO2 emissions.

The forum organizers are also offering an exclusive 20% discount on participation for those who complete registration and full payment by February 28, 2025. Payments made after this deadline will not be eligible for the discount.

The Forum Program includes important issues shaping the future of the national and global economy. Among them: 2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust: the role of Turkmenistan in shaping the future of global energy and sustainable growth; new investment opportunities in the energy sector of Turkmenistan: natural gas and monetization; accelerating the process of attracting investment in infrastructure projects in Turkmenistan with an emphasis on construction, transport, IT and telecommunications; investment opportunities in the energy sector of Turkmenistan: oil and petrochemicals.

The conference will also discuss strategies based on the UN SDGs: reducing methane and CO2 emissions and stimulating innovation in clean energy.

The TEIF 2025 Forum will provide unprecedented opportunities to establish new contacts, will become an effective platform for building business relationships and forming valuable partnerships. Thanks to carefully organized opportunities, participants will be able to interact with world leaders, decision makers and industry pioneers.
