The issues of expanding cooperation in the Central Asia-European Union format were discussed during a telephone conversation between the Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

During the conversation, the parties discussed a number of issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union. The heads of the foreign ministries paid special attention to expanding cooperation in the Central Asia-European Union format.

The parties also exchanged views on the upcoming summit and high-level meetings scheduled to be held in the near future.
