A reporting meeting was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the results of the work of industry enterprises for the first four months of the current year - the International Year of Peace and Trust. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the country's oil and gas complex at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on May 8, which summed up the activities of all sectors of the economy for the current period.

Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov especially emphasized that the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov expresses great confidence in the workers of the oil and gas industry, as a result, the state provides enormous support and creates all the conditions for improving the industry. At the same time, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov noted that the duty of every employee is to work hard and conscientiously, making a worthy contribution to the development of our Homeland.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as the heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex, spoke and reported on the work done during the reporting period.

The speeches provided detailed information on the progress of work on the implementation of the tasks set by the head of state for the production enterprises of the fuel and energy complex, in particular, on the extraction and processing of oil and natural gas, which are in great demand on world markets, the development of new promising fields and deposits, the systematic strengthening of the raw material base of the oil and gas industry, the implementation of geological exploration using modern equipment based on digital technologies.

Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov noted the importance of constant monitoring of major projects implemented in the country's oil and gas sector, timely fulfillment of production plans, consistent improvement of the skills of young specialists, acceleration of the pace of construction of the Serhetabat-Herat section called "Arkadagyň Ak ýoly", which is an important stage in the implementation of the TAPI transnational gas pipeline project, as well as active preparation of health and recreation centers for the summer season. In this regard, specific tasks facing the State Corporation "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit" and the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" were identified.

Ashyrguly Begliyev, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas, also took part in the reporting meeting.
