On June 5, the capital of Turkmenistan will host the scientific and practical conference TESC 2025 "Environmental aspects of introducing innovative technologies in the development of hydrocarbon deposits".

This important event, organized by the State Concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit" and the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" together with the ES "Turkmen Energy Forum", will bring together the world's leading experts, politicians, scientists, investors and representatives of energy companies to discuss the sustainable development of the industry in the context of technological and climate change.

The conference program, which will be held in a hybrid format, will cover key aspects of modern energy: environmentally responsible development, digital technologies and human capital development.

The plenary session “Energy Prospects, New Technologies and Environmental Aspects in the Development of Hydrocarbon Resources” will be a platform for discussing the strategy for the development of the energy sector of Turkmenistan, the integration of climate goals and investment priorities.

Among the thematic sessions: “The Future of Hydrocarbon Production through the Implementation of Artificial Intelligence”, where experts will present the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the efficiency of exploration and field management; and “Reducing Methane and CO2 Emissions in Hydrocarbon Production: Focus on the Darvaza Gas Crater”, dedicated to advanced methods of emission monitoring and the potential for research in the Darvaza Crater in the context of the Global Methane Commitment and national environmental programs.

The session “Human Capital as a Key Element in Ensuring Environmentally Responsible and Sustainable Hydrocarbon Production” will focus on the training of qualified specialists, the role of education and international exchange of experience for the “green” transformation of the industry. According to the Turkmen Energy Forum, the event is expected to bring together more than 300 delegates from over 30 countries, including key players such as SPE, CNPC, Dragon Oil, PETRONAS, and international organizations, including the UN. The forum will be held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern "Turkmengas" and will include plenary sessions, discussion panels, presentations and bilateral meetings.

TESC 2025 is positioned as a key platform for knowledge and technology exchange, defining the sustainable development of the energy sector of Turkmenistan and demonstrating the country's openness to international cooperation in this strategically important area.
