The sectoral meeting summed up the results of the activities of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan for five months of 2025

On June 5, a reporting meeting on the results of the industry’s enterprises for the first five months of this year, the International Year of Peace and Trust, was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the country’s oil and gas complex at the digital sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on June 4, which had summed up the activities of all sectors of the economy for the current period.

During the meeting, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, the State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the Türkmengaz State Concern Maksat Babayev, the Chairman of the Türkmennebit State Concern Guvanch Agajanov, the Chairman of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation Gurbangeldy Garliyev and heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex spoke, reporting on the work done during the reporting period. 

The speeches included information on the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas, the development of the dynamics of work at the Galkynyş field, the need to control the construction of TAPI, the ensuring of the smooth operation of production facilities in accordance with weather conditions, the search for and development of new deposits, the development of cooperation with leading foreign companies in the implementation of large projects, the acceleration of the pace of construction work and other relevant areas. 

Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov noted the importance of the constant monitoring of large projects being implemented in the country’s oil and gas sector, the timely fulfillment of production plans, the acceleration of the pace of the construction of the Serhetabat-Herat TAPI section called “Arkadagyň Ak ýoly” and the active preparation of health and recreation centers for the summer season. In this regard, specific tasks facing the Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit State Concerns and the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation were identified.  

The Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues Ashyrguly Begliyev also took part in the reporting meeting.
