Daewoo E&C - Gold Sponsor of CIET 2025 International Conference

South Korean company Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. will be a Gold Sponsor of the CIET 2025 International Conference and Exhibition, which will be held November 3–4, 2025, in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, according to event organizers.

This Gold Sponsor status underscores the strategic partnership between the Korean contractor and Turkmenistan in the energy and industrial sectors. Founded in 1973, Daewoo E&C is a leading global contractor with over 50 years of experience. The company implements projects in more than 30 countries, specializing in the construction of energy facilities, infrastructure, and industrial complexes.

Since 2022, the South Korean company has been actively operating in the Turkmen market. Daewoo E&C's largest project in the country is the construction of a mineral fertilizer plant in Turkmenabat, valued at approximately USD 682 million. The plant will produce 350,000 tons of phosphate fertilizers and 100,000 tons of ammonium sulfate annually. Completion of the project is scheduled for 2028.

Daewoo E&C's participation in CIET 2025 aims to enhance the conference's international standing and create a platform for exchanging experiences, implementing advanced technologies, and discussing prospects for sustainable cooperation in the region's energy sector.
