The International Exhibition and Conference "Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Industries of Turkmenistan" (CIET-2025) concluded in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on November 4, the Turkmenistan International Information Center reported.

This large-scale event, which brought together leading global and domestic experts, executives from major companies, and representatives of financial institutions, became a key platform for identifying strategic directions for the development of the Turkmen economy.

CIET-2025 confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness for comprehensive technological modernization and the active attraction of foreign investment.

During the forum, a number of important bilateral agreements and memorandums of cooperation were signed with international partners, including companies from Germany, Italy, China, and Russia. These documents relate to the modernization of the glass and cement industries, the supply of specialized equipment, and the development of digital solutions.

The conference solidified the country's commitment to sustainable development and decarbonization. Projects to build the region's largest combined-cycle power plant on the Caspian Sea (1,574 MW), establish a Hydrogen Energy Center, and implement renewable energy sources were discussed.

Radical reforms in education (MUNIG and TGASI) to train "21st Century Engineers" were presented.

The success of domestic enterprises, such as the Aýdyň Gijeler joint venture, which has achieved 90% import substitution in energy-saving lighting, demonstrating the effectiveness of public-private partnerships, was noted.

Conference participants expressed confidence that CIET-2025 will serve as a powerful impetus for further strengthening international economic dialogue. The forum clearly demonstrated that the future of Turkmenistan's construction, industrial, chemical, and energy sectors is inextricably linked to innovation, energy efficiency, and the creation of high-tech infrastructure. Participants of the CIET-2025 forum sent an address to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressing their deep gratitude for the support provided and the conditions created for holding the high-level event. The forum served as a clear demonstration of the large-scale projects and promising plans being implemented in Turkmenistan.
