Taliban Movement Supports TAPI and other infrastructure projects in Afghanistanане

The delegation of the Political Office of the Taliban Movement expressed full support for the implementation of infrastructure projects aimed at ensuring the welfare and prosperity of the Afghan people, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
As noted, on February 6, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between the leadership of the Foreign Ministry and the delegation of the Political Office of the Taliban Movement, headed by the leader of this office, Molla Abdul Ghani Baradar.
During constructive negotiations, the parties emphasized the importance of establishing and maintaining peace and stability in Afghanistan, the Foreign Ministry said.
In this regard, it was especially noted that Turkmenistan has been providing significant support to the Afghan people for many years, contributing to the development of the Afghan economy, primarily in such strategically important areas as energy, transport, communications and communications.
"The most important projects in these areas are the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, high-voltage power transmission lines and fiber-optic communication lines along the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan route, as well as railways connecting Turkmenistan with Afghanistan", - the Foreign Ministry said.
At the end of the talks, representatives of the Afghan delegation made an appeal to the press and answered questions.
- There is no doubt that the early start of construction of projects such as TAPI, TAP and railways from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan will contribute to the achievement of prosperity and economic development in Afghanistan, - Mohammad Suhail Shahin, a member of the Political Directorate and the Negotiating Group of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said at press conference.
“On the one hand, while we are fighting for the independence of our country, in the meantime, we are trying to contribute to the prosperity of our people and the development of our country, ensuring the protection of all national projects in the country” - Mohammad Shahin mentioned.
“In this regard, as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, we declare our full support for the implementation of TAPI and other development projects in our country and ensuring their security”, - the Taliban representative said.
