In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, emphasized the important role of the Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline.
"We view this project as one of the most important areas for diversifying energy flows and ensuring energy security on the continent," noted Hero-Arkadag.
"Turkmenistan is approaching it seriously, attentively, and constructively. At the same time, it is necessary to resolve international legal issues, in particular, the delimitation of the Caspian Seabed. A Turkmen-Azerbaijani working group was established some time ago to address this issue. We hope that its work will yield significant practical results," Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov added.
