Labor protection and workers' rights are a priority for state policy

A seminar on "Occupational Health and Safety Compliance in Organizations and Enterprises of the State Corporation Turkmengeology in 2025 and Objectives for 2026" was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute (NRI) of the State Concern Turkmengas. Organized by the State Corporation Turkmengeology, the forum was attended by senior corporation employees, engineers, and specialists in technical safety and labor protection.
The seminar featured speeches by Arslan Atalov, Deputy Chief Engineer for Occupational Health and Safety at the State Corporation Turkmengeology; Cheper Babayeva, Chairperson of the Primary Trade Union; Geldymurat Seytiev, Chairman of the Council of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Workers of Turkmenistan; Serdar Meredaliyev, Senior State Inspector of the State Service "Türkmenstandartlary" of the Ahal Velayat and the city of Ashgabat; Yagshimurat Yollyev, Chief Engineer of the Nebitgazhowpsuzlyk Paramilitary Directorate of the State Concern Turkmengas; and others.
The presentations covered in detail the implementation of technical safety regulations in production, organizations, and enterprises, as well as in horticultural and forestry enterprises in 2025. They also highlighted favorable conditions created for workers and specialists, including those working in the field. Work carried out to protect the labor of workers and specialists was also addressed, as was the implementation of fire safety regulations.
Improvement of collective agreements concluded between workers and organizations, the introduction of collective agreements, and the full and proper implementation of decisions arising from concern for the individual, which is a priority of our country's state policy. Tasks to be accomplished in the area of technical safety and labor protection in 2026 were identified.
In addition, reports were presented by relevant specialists on the work accomplished. Engineers and other labor protection and technical safety personnel were instructed to prepare proposals for achieving high results in this area.
As the seminar participants noted in their speeches, in the epoch of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero-Arkadag, and the head of state, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, extensive work is underway to improve the living conditions of our people. Every year, new production facilities are built and commissioned in our country, and existing ones are modernized. Production facilities are equipped with the latest scientific technologies and equipment. Highly effective programmatic approaches aimed at improving and restoring human health, enhancing working conditions, and properly organizing leisure time inspire our citizens to new achievements in the world of work.
