A festive event to mark International Women’s Day was held at the Cultural and Business Center of the Türkmengaz State Concern. Organized by the Central Council of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan together with the primary women’s organizations of the Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit State Concerns, the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation and the Council of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Workers of Turkmenistan, the festive evening brought together women, working in various sectors of the oil and gas industry, teachers and students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and gray-haired mothers in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Performances by actors from the Cultural and Business Center of the Türkmengaz State Concern and the Main Drama Theater of Turkmenistan added a special touch, vibrant colors and unforgettable impressions to the celebration.

During the celebration, gifts were presented to mothers, women and girls gathered in the hall. In modern Turkmenistan, the deep veneration of women and the protection of their dignity have been elevated to the status of a national sacredness. As the National Leader of the Turkmen people notes, our compatriots make an invaluable contribution to strengthening the power of the Motherland. Those who delivered the congratulatory speeches noted the special role of women in preserving the rich spiritual heritage and national traditions.
