Representatives of Turkmenistan and Pakistan discussed opportunities for developing energy partnership

On March 12, a meeting with a delegation from Orient Petroleum Inc., led by CEO Kamran Ahmad, was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the meeting, the parties noted the significant potential for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and expressed interest in further developing cooperation in the energy sector.

The Turkmen side informed the interlocutors about the export opportunities of Turkmenistan's energy sector. It was emphasized that Turkmenistan, as one of the world's leading natural gas producers, is focusing on diversifying export routes, implementing advanced technologies in hydrocarbon production and processing, and expanding international cooperation to meet the growing global demand for energy resources.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further deepening and diversifying Turkmen-Pakistani cooperation, according to the website turkmennebit.gov.tm.
