On March 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the measures being implemented by the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" to improve the efficiency of geological exploration.
As reported, Turkmen geologists are conducting the necessary work to identify underground resources, conduct seismic exploration using modern equipment, and strengthen the hydrocarbon base. Furthermore, to further improve the effectiveness of these activities, comprehensive steps are being taken to modernize the State Corporation's material and technical infrastructure.
In this regard, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state's consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the country is productively working to identify and develop underground resources. Approving a proposal to improve the efficiency of geological exploration, the head of state addressed a number of instructions to the Vice-Chairman in this regard.
