Last week, 18 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
Business representatives from Türkiye purchased technical sulfuric acid (SC Türkmenhimiýa) for foreign currency, while those from Uzbekistan bought base oil produced at the processing facilities of the Türkmennebit State Concern.
Yarn and cotton fabric, semi-finished calico fabric, dyed and printed sateen fabric, licorice root extract, non-distilled cotton soap stock fatty acids, children’s denim clothes, dyed terry products and wheat flour were also sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries included Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, India and Kyrgyzstan.
The total transaction value exceeded US$28,074,000.
Domestic entrepreneurs purchased cotton fiber, raw silk and cotton yarn for a total of 20 million 955 thousand manats for the domestic market.
