Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan Discussed Energy Cooperation

Prospects for developing cooperation in the energy sector were discussed on April 22 at a meeting between Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Gismet Gozalov.
The meeting emphasized the important role of mutual visits and high-level contacts in developing bilateral relations.
The importance of further expanding the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, in particular strengthening effective and practical cooperation in the energy sector, was also noted.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries in the economic and energy sectors, with a particular focus on the oil and gas sector, Orient reports.
