Turkmen-Russian Intergovernmental Commission discussed the draft program of economic cooperation for 2021 – 2023

The draft Program of Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation for 2021 – 2023 was considered during the eighth meeting of the High-Level Group on Trade and Investment Support within the framework of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation, held yesterday in the format of a video conference, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Vice-Chairman of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan Kerim Kurbanov, the Russian delegation – by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach.
The parties also discussed issues of developing trade and economic interaction, reviewed the implementation of joint projects.
The parties exchanged views on the conditions for improving mutual trade and interaction in the spheres of industry, energy, finance, including partnership between financial regulators and commercial banks of Turkmenistan and Russia.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed.
