The amount of foreign exchange transactions at the auctions amounted to about $24 million

 At the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 37 transactions were registered last week.

 Businessmen from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased calcined petroleum coke and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency.  Representatives of Afghanistan also purchased ECO-93 gasoline (SC «Turkmengas»).  Polyethylene became the subject of transactions between businessmen from Russia and Afghanistan.

 Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates also bought cotton yarn for foreign currency.

 The total amount of transactions was approximately USD 24 million.

 For manat funds, representatives of Pakistani business circles purchased cotton yarn worth over 878,000 manats.

 Domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene bags, slack wax, agglomerate and granulate of polypropylene film (TCOR) for the local market for over 10 million 574 thousand manats.
