Austrian University offers scholarship to IOGU students

The rectors of the International Oil and Gas university named after Yagshigeldi Kakayev and the Leoben Mining University of Austria held online talks on the development of inter-university cooperation in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2020 between the two higher schools.

Bayrammurat Atamanov, Rector of IOGU, and Wilfried Eichlseder, head of the Mining University, discussed the implementation of the provisions of the memorandum in the system of international relations of their universities.

The management of the Austrian university expressed its readiness to provide Turkmen students with a scholarship to study in Leoblen, as well as to take a course on advanced training. An actual offer is the organization of online lectures for students and teachers.

Leoben University is one of the oldest universities in its field in Europe, it has a great scientific potential in the mining and oil and gas industries.
