The third oil loading terminal is being built at the Kenar enterprise for the storage and shipment of oil products of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Vice-Chairman Shahym Abdrakhmanov reported on the progress of its construction at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held last Friday in the city of Turkmenbashi.

Having listened to the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted that in accordance with the «Program for the development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030», a number of new technological units were planned to be built at the TCOR in the near future.

In this regard, priority should be given to increasing the volume of crude oil supplies to the petrochemical complex, ensuring timely shipment of products manufactured by the largest oil refinery in the region to domestic and foreign consumers, the head of the state said and addressed a number of specific instructions to the Vice-Chairman.

Currently, TCOR has two oil loading terminals for servicing oil tankers.
