On Monday, Vice-Chairman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk by phone discussed issues related to the forthcoming official visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Russian Federation. R. Meredov and A. Overchuk are co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation.

The interlocutors also discussed issues of further strengthening bilateral ties in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
