Investment opportunities in new energy projects discussed at Turkmen-Korean parliamentary talks

On Monday, at a meeting in the National Assembly, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the parliaments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea. An exchange of views also took place on the prospects for economic cooperation, including in the fields of energy and industrial infrastructure, communications and communications, the textile industry and forestry. “Turkmenistan, which boasts the world's fourth-largest natural gas reserves, and Korea, which has superior technology, have complementary economic structures”, - Kim Jin Pyo said. As Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted, Turkmenistan will continue cooperation with Korean companies in the energy sector, and also supported the proposal to expand the teaching of the Korean language in Turkmen schools and invited the speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea to visit Turkmenistan at any convenient time.
Chairman of the National Assembly Kim also asked Turkmenistan to support the holding of the World Expo 2030 in Busan.
