During the visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to Moscow, 15 bilateral documents were signed

 Fifteen bilateral documents were signed following a two-day visit to Moscow on December 6-7 by a Turkmen delegation headed by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov.  This is reported by the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

 Among the signed documents is a program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation for 2023-2024, as well as agreements in the economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres.

 It is also noted that on Wednesday Moscow hosted the 12th meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian commission on economic cooperation chaired by Vice-Chairmen Rashid Meredov and Aleksey Overchuk, which reviewed the state and prospects of Turkmen-Russian trade and economic cooperation, which has been  years received a powerful impetus.

 The talks confirmed the mutual interest in expanding partnerships in various fields, entering new promising areas, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

 The fuel and energy complex, transport, industry, agriculture, construction, and healthcare were named among the priorities.  Due attention is paid to the development of cultural and humanitarian interaction.

 The heads of delegations spoke in favor of building up cooperation across the spectrum in accordance with the instructions of the Presidents of the two countries and the logic of the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.

 During the visit, a number of meetings were also held between the relevant ministries and departments of the two countries.
