The program of the upcoming state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to China provides for the signing of a package of bilateral documents. This was announced by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov at a government meeting last Wednesday.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the exceptional productivity of the long-term Turkmen-Chinese cooperation, which, thanks to the efforts of the parties, has been given a strategic character.
“Successfully developing a constructive dialogue in a bilateral format, Turkmenistan and China are also fruitfully interacting on the platform of authoritative international and regional organizations, providing each other with support,” the head of the state said.
The President also noted that regular meetings at the highest, intergovernmental and interdepartmental levels contribute to the strengthening of cooperation.
Focusing on the importance of the upcoming high-level talks in Beijing, designed to give a new powerful impetus to the further development of the multifaceted Turkmen-Chinese partnership, the President of Turkmenistan gave the Vice-premier relevant instructions.
