Low-sulphur fuel oil sold for export at exchange auctions

 At the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan on January 10, 4 transactions were registered for a total of $11.9 million and 11.2 million Turkmen manats, ORIENT reports.

 Businessmen from the Virgin Islands and the United Arab Emirates purchased a total of 30,000 tons of low-sulfur fuel oil for $11.9 million. They estimated the cost of production at $398.50 per ton.

 In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 1,000 tons of total petroleum coke for 11.2 million manats.

Tajikistan intends to increase imports of liquefied natural gas from Turkmenistan
