Automotive and jet fuel, petroleum coke were in the lead at the auction

 46 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

 Representatives of the business circles of the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased gasoline for foreign currency (TCOR).  Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Uzbekistan, the Virgin Islands and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene and hydrotreated diesel fuel (SC «Turkmennebit»).

 Also, dyed terry products, cotton yarn, dry extract of licorice root and Portland cement were sold for foreign currency.  Buying countries: Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Ireland and Serbia.

 The total amount of transactions exceeded 77 million US dollars.

 For manats, businessmen from the UAE and Turkey also purchased cotton yarn in the amount of over 25,396,000 manats.

 For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased calcined petroleum coke (SC «Turkmennebit») and packaging film (TCOR) with a total value of 75 million 500 thousand manats.

Tajikistan intends to increase imports of liquefied natural gas from Turkmenistan

Tajikistan, which has so far imported liquefied natural gas mainly from Kazakhstan and Russia, will now expand the geography of supplies, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic Juma Daler said at a press conference, Interfax reports.
