14 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene and polypropylene (SC «Turkmennebit») for foreign currency. The products of the SC «Turkmenchemistry» were also in high demand. Thus, businessmen from Afghanistan purchased ECO-93 gasoline, and businessmen from China and the United Arab Emirates – technical iodine.
Also, cotton yarn was sold for foreign currency, which was purchased by entrepreneurs from Ireland and Azerbaijan.
The total amount of transactions exceeded 109 million 250 thousand US dollars.
Turkish businessmen also purchased cotton yarn in the amount of 262,500 manats.
