The results of the oil and gas complex's work over 11 months were discussed at a government meeting

 Last Friday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which the results of the work of economic sectors for eleven months of the current year were summed up, relevant reports were heard, and priority tasks of the country’s socio-economic development were discussed.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of the activities of the supervised industries for January–November of the current year as part of the implementation of the Oil and Gas Industry Development Program for the period until 2030.

 Information was presented on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, including the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, oil supply and refining, as well as polypropylene production.

 It was reported that during the period under review, the plan for the production of gasoline was fulfilled by 103 percent, diesel fuel by 102.8 percent, lubricating oils by 104.5 percent, liquefied gas by 116.1 percent.

 Based on the results of 11 months, the plan for the production of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 107.6 percent, and for the export of “blue fuel” – by 113.8 percent.

 Next, the Vice-Chairman reported on preparations for the upcoming celebrations in honor of the Day of Oil and Gas Industry and Geology Workers.  On the occasion of the professional holiday, a number of events are planned in the capital and velayats of the country.

 After listening to the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of carrying out the necessary work in accordance with the Development Program of the domestic fuel and energy complex.

 Special attention should be paid to the issues of deep development of oil and gas fields, the head of state said, ordering to take appropriate measures to increase the volume of oil and gas production.

 It is also necessary to properly prepare for the celebration of the Day of Workers of the Oil and Gas Industry and Geology, to ensure a high level of planned events, the President of Turkmenistan noted, having given the Vice-Chairman relevant instructions.
