During the Dialogue, initiated in September last year by the heads of state of the Central Asian region and the United States, issues of expanding trade and economic partnership, ensuring energy security, exchange of experience and high technologies, as well as the high-quality use of renewable energy sources were discussed.

The meeting was moderated by US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources Geoffrey Pyatt and for Central Asian Affairs John Mark Pommersheim, as well as US administration officials who oversee minerals issues.

It is noted that the countries of the region have expressed interest in the investment opportunities that open up when implementing energy cooperation.
