The oil and gas potential of Turkmenistan will be presented at the investment forum in Paris

The International Forum to attract foreign investment in the energy sector of Turkmenistan (TEIF 2024) will be held in Paris on April 24-25, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Etoile hotel. The forum is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” in cooperation with the Turkmen Forum and the British company GaffneyCline.
Turkmenistan, which owns one of the largest gas fields, Galkynysh, and has conditions for the development of solar and wind energy, is actively adapting to the global transition to new types of energy. At the upcoming forum in Paris, our country will present its resource potential and opportunities for foreign investors, the forum organizer reports.
TEIF 2024 will focus on attracting foreign investment in the hydrocarbon resources of the Caspian Sea, optimizing production at mature fields, developing the Galkynysh gas field, constructing the TAPI gas pipeline and new gas production facilities. A separate session will be devoted to reducing methane emissions.
Forum participants will discuss Turkmenistan's role in the future of global energy, new investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector, reducing emissions from hydrocarbon production, accelerating investment in infrastructure projects and the role of financial institutions in promoting clean energy projects.
Among the future delegates of the upcoming event are representatives of leading international companies such as CNPC, BP, Exxon Mobil, Petronas, ADNOC, Mitro International, Buried Hill, NAPECO, Dragon Oil, ENI, Lukoil; international oil and gas organizations, such as the International Energy Agency (IEA), the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the Global Gas Center (GGC), the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the Energy Charter Secretariat; numerous international organizations and financial institutions – the UN, OSCE, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Participation in the forum and business meetings at its site with the leadership of the energy, construction and transport and communications sectors of Turkmenistan will provide potential investors with the most complete information about new investment projects in our country.
