Over the past week, 28 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
Businessmen from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased motor gasoline, straight-run gasoline, aviation kerosene and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency.
Also, cars of various brands, float glass, cotton yarn and vegetable products were sold for foreign currency. Purchasing countries: Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Turkey, Ukraine.
The total amount of transactions exceeded USD 21 million 218 thousand.
For manat funds, representatives of business circles from the UAE purchased cotton yarn worth more than 5 million 628 thousand manat.
Domestic businessmen bought various types of motor oil in the amount of 813,000 manat for the local market.
