The results of the fuel and energy complex for two months of 2024 were discussed at the industry meeting

 A reporting meeting was held in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan on March 3, at which the results of the work of industry enterprises for the first two months of this year, held under the motto “The Fount of the Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy” were discussed.  During the meeting, the tasks set for the country's oil and gas complex by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, which took place on March 1, summed up the results of the work done in all sectors of the national economy in January-February.

 During the reporting meeting, held under the leadership of Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmengas» Maksat Babaev, Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmennebit» Guvanch Aghajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» Gurbangeldy Garlyev, General Director of JSC «Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company» Maksat Pirliev, as well as heads of associations, departments, organizations and enterprises of the complex made reports on the results of the work done over the past two months of 2024.

 The speeches included information about the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, the widespread use of a digital system in the complex’s activities, the need to control TAPI construction issues, accelerating the pace of work at the Galkynysh field, consistently improving the level of professional knowledge of specialists, accelerating the dynamics of construction  works, developing cooperation with leading foreign companies, entering new markets, as well as in other equally relevant areas.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov emphasized the need for careful preparation for the National Tree Planting Campaign, which, according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, is scheduled for March 16, 2024.  The Vice-Chairman also noted the importance of improving the activities of the fuel and energy complex on the basis of innovative technologies, effectively solving problems related to the implementation of planned obligations, familiarizing relevant specialists with the ongoing activities on the ground, and outlined specific tasks facing the State Concerns «Turkmengas» and «Turkmennebit», the State Corporation  «Turkmengeology» and JSC «Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company».

 Adviser to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues, Ashyrguly Begliev, highlighted priority areas in the oil and gas complex and, putting forward a number of proposals, also outlined the key tasks in the activities of the State Concern “Turkmengas”, “Turkmennebit”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” and the CJSC “Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company”.

 Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov wished the industry workers success in developing the oil and gas sector and effectively solving the tasks set by the head of state – Hero of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Serdar and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
