At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 21 transactions were registered last week.
Representatives of the business circles of the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Malta purchased for foreign currency base oil, low-sulfur fuel oil, liquefied gas produced at the technological installations of the State Concern «Turkmennebit», as well as urea produced by the State Concern «Turkmenchemistry».
Also, entrepreneurs from the UAE, Turkey and Germany purchased cotton yarn, licorice roots and rhizomes for foreign currency.
The total amount of transactions amounted to over 46 million 102 thousand US dollars.
Turkmen businessmen purchased polypropylene, petroleum road bitumen and mixed paraffin slack (SC “Turkmennebit”), as well as handmade carpets, cotton yarn, and tea drink with licorice root for the domestic market. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 19 million 681 thousand manats.
