The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the General Director of PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd Ismadi Bin Ismail on June 11, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of multifaceted cooperation with Malaysia.  The growing dynamics of relations between countries in various directions, including in the trade, economic, fuel and energy spheres, was noted.

In this regard, the fruitful nature of the partnership established between Turkmenistan and PETRONAS was noted.

During the meeting, the possibilities of intensifying and developing new areas of cooperation were discussed, taking into account the economic development programs being implemented in Turkmenistan, major projects in the industrial sector, as well as creating favorable conditions for business.

In addition, emphasis was placed on the joint activities of Turkmenistan with PETRONAS in training specialists for the oil and gas industry.

Hero-Arkadag confirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to continue to promote the development of bilateral dialogue in a wide range of areas.
