Presentation of the new book by the President of Turkmenistan took place at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas

Last week, the presentation of the new book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Magtymguly – dünýäniň akyldary” (“Magtymguly – the Sage of the World”, published on the eve of 2025 – “International Year of Peace and Trust” and at the end of 2024 – “The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Pyragy” took place at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.

The event was attended by teachers and students of the university. As the speakers noted, the work comprehensively reveals the significance of Magtymguly in the history of the Turkmen people, his work as a contribution to the golden treasury of world literature.

Also, the new book “Magtymguly – the Sage of the World” tells about the events,  organized on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker. The publication of the book, which also reflects scientific works on the study of the life and literary heritage of Pyragy, has become a wonderful and priceless gift for the people of Turkmenistan.  

The speakers also noted that the book is of particular importance for students and teachers. It is an indispensable source for employees of the educational system in popularizing the world fame of the work of the great thinker and poet of the East Magtymguly Pyragy and his widespread propaganda among young people, forming a sense of patriotism, as well as explaining to the younger generation the principles of the independence policy of our Homeland. 

The publication is of great importance in expanding the horizons of young people, ensuring the spiritual perfection of Turkmen society, the spiritual health of the present and future generations of the Turkmen people. As the esteemed President notes, the outstanding son of the Turkmen people Magtymguly Pyragy left a rich literary heritage for future generations.  His work is a national treasure and spiritual treasure of the Turkmen people. 

The new book by Arkadagly Hero Serdar is addressed to a wide readership and connoisseurs of the rich literary heritage of Magtymguly. The publication is made at a high printing level, presented in separate books in three languages – Turkmen, Russian and English, and is richly illustrated. 

The works and philosophical reflections of Magtymguly Pyragy, imbued with deep wisdom, which have become an integral part of the rich treasury of world culture, his thoughts on unity, humanism, his wise instructions run like a red thread through the entire book of the head of state.
