30 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas (SC "Turkmengas") and motor gasoline (SC "Turkmenchemistry") for foreign currency.

Representatives of business circles from China, Hong Kong, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan also purchased textiles and licorice root extract, as well as dry karapach cocoons for foreign currency.

The total amount of transactions amounted to over 69 million 190 thousand US dollars.

Local businessmen purchased polypropylene and petroleum road bitumen (SC "Turkmennebit"), as well as textile waste for the domestic market. The total amount of transactions amounted to 95 million 680 thousand manats.
