Turkmenistan proposed the creation of Global Program for the transition to hydrogen energy

Speaking at the Vienna International Energy and Climate Forum, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed the creation of a Global Program for the Transition to Hydrogen Energy for a ten-year period.

"As we begin the practical development of hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan using natural gas, we are ready to work on this area across the broadest possible range and with all interested international partners," said Hero-Arkadag, whose speech was published on the TDH website.

"In this regard, we propose the initiative to create a Global Program for the Transition to Hydrogen Energy for a ten-year period. We are open to discussing the modalities for developing such a document with the UN," noted the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
