On April 10, during a working visit to the Lebap velayat of our country, the esteemed President inaugurated the Mary–Turkmenabat section of the 600-kilometer Ashgabat–Turkmenabat high-speed international highway. This momentous event brought genuine joy and pride to our compatriots. The commissioning of this modern highway, built in full compliance with international standards, will have a significant impact on increasing freight volumes and reducing transit times and will also ensure high-quality passenger service, reliably connecting the center of the eastern region of the country with the capital, Ashgabat.
A network of modern road service facilities has been deployed along the Mary–Turkmenabat section of the highway, which meets the most stringent international standards. These include new gas stations, which have already begun providing services to the population.
