Business Forum of ECO Member States will be held in Ashgabat on November 26

 Ashgabat will host the IV business forum of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) on November 26, the website of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan reports.

 The forum is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the ECO Secretariat and the ECO Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 The forum will be attended by heads and representatives of relevant ministries and departments, national chambers of commerce and industry, banking and financial institutions, representatives of state and private enterprises and companies of the ECO region.

 The plenary session of the forum will be devoted to the topic “Expansion and activation of trade and economic cooperation between the ECO member states”.

 The session “Cooperation in the field of trade and services, customs services and taxation, digital commerce and e-commerce in the ECO Region” will feature speakers from the public and private sectors, banking and financial institutions.

 The session «Development of transport and logistics services in the ECO region» will be attended by representatives of the public and private sectors of transport and logistics.

 Also, within the framework of the forum, it is planned to hold meetings with the leadership in the sectors of oil and gas, chemistry, agriculture, food and textile industries, trade.

 The forum will be held in a hybrid format, which also provides for online participation.

 ECO was founded in 1985 and unites 10 states – Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

 The priority vector of partnership between the ECO member states is the transport and communication sector.
