Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Chinese Ambassador Qian Naicheng discussed preparations for the China-Central Asia summit and the opening of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games in Beijing on Saturday, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
During the meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the diplomats expressed satisfaction with the current pace of development of bilateral partnership in a wide range. At the same time, it was especially noted that this year the Turkmen-Chinese diplomatic relations entered the anniversary stage.
It should be noted that in early January of this year, Ambassador Qian Naicheng presented President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with an official diplomatic invitation to the upcoming XXIV Winter Olympic Games in Beijing from February 4 to 20.
