 61 transactions were registered at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week. For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Russia, Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan purchased polypropylene, lighting kerosene and diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.  Polyethylene (SC "Turkmengas") became the subject of transactions of businessmen from Russia, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. Also cotton yarn was sold for foreign currency.  Purchasing countries: Russia and Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of transactions amounted to approximately USD 20 million. For manat funds, entrepreneurs from Canada purchased cotton yarn for a total of 244,800 manats. Domestic businessmen purchased high density polyethylene (Türkmengaz Group of Companies), cotton fiber and hand-made carpets for the local market.  The total amount of transactions exceeded 41 million 196 thousand manat.
