The heads of a number of foreign countries discussed with the leaders of Turkmenistan the prospects for interstate cooperation

 Last Tuesday, the leaders of a number of foreign countries had telephone conversations with Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and newly elected President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.  Among them are the leaders of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Pakistan and other countries.

 In a conversation with the heads of foreign countries, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov informed them about the results of the presidential elections held on March 12 on an alternative basis.  At the same time, the Turkmen leader noted that he intends to continue his active work as Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh (Upper House of Parliament) of Turkmenistan.

 In turn, the leaders of foreign countries noted the great personal contribution of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the achievements of the modern Turkmen state, as well as to increasing the international prestige of our country, and supported his far-sighted decision to involve young initiative leaders in state building.

 The leaders of foreign states warmly congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his convincing victory in the elections and wished him great success in his activities in this important and responsible post.

 The newly elected President of Turkmenistan, in a conversation with the leaders of foreign countries, announced plans to build up interstate relations and mutually beneficial economic cooperation for the benefit of the fraternal peoples of our partner countries.

 Serdar Berdimuhamedov mentioned that he intends to continue the course started by the previous President of the country, in particular, to take further steps to build up the entire range of interstate cooperation, promote new mutually beneficial projects.

Seydi refinery increases production and export of bitumen

The Seydi oil refinery is consistently increasing the output of oil products and increasing the volume of export deliveries.
