86 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Entrepreneurs from the UK, Afghanistan, Turkey, Switzerland, Scotland, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel, motor gasoline, aviation and lighting kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency. Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased carbamide and gasoline of the EKO brand (SC «Turkmenchemistry»).
Also, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn, which were purchased by representatives of business circles from Turkey, Hong Kong, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan, were sold for foreign currency.
The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 219 million 229 thousand US dollars.
Cotton yarn also became the subject of transactions for manats. Buyer countries: United Arab Emirates, Turkey. The total amount of transactions amounted to over 4 million 263 thousand manats.
For the local market, domestic businessmen purchased a total of petroleum coke and polypropylene (produced by the TCOR), as well as handmade carpets for a total amount of more than 21 million 31 thousand manats.
