“I would like to join the numerous congratulations addressed these days to Serdar Gurbanguliyevich Berdimuhamedov on occasion of his assumption of the office of the President of Turkmenistan!

“For just a month, I became a direct witness to several historical events in the life of our Motherland – the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh and the elections and inauguration of the head of our state. I consider this a great honor for me.

“During the years of sovereign development, great changes have taken place in Turkmenistan. The most important steps have been taken in strengthening the democratic foundations of the state, as evidenced by the nomination of candidates for the post of President and the course of the current election campaign.

“Serdar Gurbanguliyevich Berdimuhamedov is a young leader who has proven himself to be a high professional in all managerial positions that were entrusted to him. The people made their choice and entrusted him with what is the most precious – the fate of the Motherland.

“I am sure that under the leadership of President Serdar Gurbanguliyevich, our Turkmenistan will become even richer, more beautiful and more powerful. I wish our President happiness and success in all endeavors for the benefit of our country and the Turkmen people.”
