The British consulting company GaffneyCline is considering the possibility of expanding further work in the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan.  This was reported by Trend with reference to the company's project director Drew Powell.

He noted that GaffneyCline is currently discussing issues related to the development of cooperation with the State Concerns «Turkmengas» and «Turkmennebit».

Powell also added that during the International Conference «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022» (OGT-2022), the company had a good opportunity to meet with many Turkmen companies and establish cooperation with them.

It is worth noting that GaffneyCline already has a successful experience of cooperation with Turkmenistan in assessing the reserves of the Galkynysh gas field, as a result of which it was confirmed that according to the international classification, it belongs to the “super giant”.  In particular, its total reserves, together with the Ýaşlar and Garaköl fields, are estimated by the company's specialists at 27.4 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.
